This was Courtney between mile marker 20 and 21... um... how does that chick manage to jump and smile after running 20 miles?!?!? I want to die after 3 miles.

It was truly the coolest thing to get to see her in action. I can't believe what she accomplished. I would love to be a member of the marathon club-- oh to be young again.

Courtney, thanks for letting us share this experience with you. I'm still in awe...

Wow. I'm with you, Kristin, that seems like a supernatural feat at that point in the race. Incredible! Courtney you're my hero!

Coach, what on earth are you doing smiling after 20 miles of running? I'm seriously such a proud big sis! You're a champ.

Lady Coach ... you are an absolute whack job. That being said ... Impressive. Very impressive.

No, thank YOU Kristin for being the president of my little fan club. After only a couple hours of sleep you got up and schlepped yourself and everyone else around from mile marker to mile marker in the horrible marathon-day traffic trying to find me. I've watched a marathon before and I know it's not the most exciting thing for the spectators, but you all were very convincing in making me believe you were just as excited (if not more) than me to be there.

Nikki and I did our best to remain enthusiastic throughout the entire race and with our adrenaline rushes and the crowd cheering our names it wasn't all that much of a challenge. Come mile 21, however, I was hitting a low point... It wasn't until I saw the fam all waiting there for me that my forced smile became extremely genuine. Thanks for providing me with my 5th wind (maybe 6th...I lost count after 3), I couldn't have done it without you!

So...who's running the next marathon? I took one for the team on this one, someone else has got to step up to the plate.

Oh PS Kristin, I didn't get a chance to say thanks for letting me hog some of the attention on Charlie's baby blessing day. I will send you those pictures asap!
