Malia's prayers

Tonight, they went like this...

Heavenly Father, thank you that I've been good. Amen.

I glared at her without saying anything and she said, "Oh, sorry, sorry mom. Heavenly Father, thank you that I've been good, thank you that Nana and Papa and Mackenzie and Kristin and Mackenzie and Kristin could come over. Amen. She looks up at me and then adds, "And bless the food."

Wow. We've got some work to do.

Kid prayers are classic. Whenever we have company over and one of them volunteer to give the blessing, I get nervous.

Maybe so, but at least she realized on her own accord that the first one wasn't enough. That's an intuitive child!

Just knowing us, can you imagine how many times we humiliated mom and dad when they had company over and we volunteered to say the prayer?

Wait, Has Buff never told you about Spencer? up until he was 6 or so and ONLY when her parents or when other important people are around to hear a prayer, he would always throw in "and please bless that mommy and daddy will stop fighting" and occasionally a "please pless they don't get divorced"

thats so great....
