Hey this is Dale speaking for Stephanie (because I am keeping her locked in the basement and she is not allowed outside except for Sunday to go to church). She can get the blog on the cell phone (or at least that is my cover for the basement deal) but can't post from the phone. (I know that is an ingenious cover story.) Anyway, she wanted to say she is very excited for you guys!!! She was checking all day to see. Anyway, congrats from her!
As for my reaction, as one who is only beginning the experience of having 3 girls in one house at once (3 not 4 like Justin) I can only imagine your relief! Imagine my horror when I realized the other day that Brandon will be going to college at about precisely the time my TWINS start TEENAGE years at the same time. At least Justin will have another male around to keep him company when his girls are doing that!!
Yep, that's the big one! And if there is enough left over we're going to fly you all back to help dedicate him. Him...that's kind of fun to say. Holy shnikees, we're having a boy!
I can't really make out anything in that picture except for a bunch of blobs, so I'll just have to take your word for it that it's a boy. Oh and Kate, "He's going to be a soccer player, he is, he iiiissss." - Billy Madison
Matt and Lisa, We're praying for you guys. We love you tons and hope for the best. You know, I broke my fast on behalf of Justin and Kate but the line between fasting and a hunger strike is blurry. I'm game for round two. Seriously, though, please let us know if you guys would are comfortable with having a family fast. We're more than happy to join in. Our fingers are crossed for you guys. CONGRATULATIONS! Like Courtney said, I cannot seem to make out that picture, unless it's zoomed in a million times; I wish they would have zoomed MY picture because I was initially pretty skeptical about it being a girl (Matt was right).
Thanks for al your kindness and prayers. In case you don't have details...I CAN'T EVEN SIT UP! Sometimes I just lay here waiting for my bladder to fill so that I can get up for the restroom (I told you there would be details.) So...emotional rollercoaster for the next two weeks and then I can breathe a little (since we will have ruled out a tragic infection) and just concentrate on keeping the baby in for another ten weeks! I keep telling Matt that I'm making him into a really amazing person throughout this whole thing and how much he has to do for me. Is this what being newlyweds is all about?
On Tuesday I go back to the doctor and will hopefully have some good news. Tammy - thanks for your offer! I'll talk to Matt tonight and see what he thinks we all should do. I am actually quite hopeful at this point!
