I came into the family room tonight to find THIS all over my couches. I asked malia what she was doing and she said, "Mom, I have to feed the kids." See that pot in the middle with her blankie in it? She said it's blankie soup. Guess that's what we're having tonight since all my pots are now on the couch!!!

Blankie soup sounds a lot more appetizing than the mystery dinner I conjured up tonight...count me in!

I hope the soup was delicious. I can only imagine what a kid's blanket simmering in steaming hot water would taste like.
Nate has gotten very attached to a particular blankie, which has been DISCONTINUED FROM TARGET!!! Didn't I learn my lesson the night Camille puked and I couldn't put her back to bed for hours until her blankie had gone through the wash. ALWAYS have a backup. I'm so irritated about it. I'm working on finding a spare, so I can keep a reasonably clean blankie for him to love and snuggle and poke his little fingers through. By the way, ebay sellers are a bunch of crack smokers.
