Here are a couple highlights from Saturday's game. It was the first day of basketball camp. I don't think there was a player shorter than Jake, and the level of competition was better than he was used to. But Jake definitely held his own, making 3 shots, getting a number of rebounds and a ton of steals. I didn't get much on video, but here are a couple of the baskets coming off offensive rebounds. Jake's in the white shorts with blue top.

Way to go, Jake! That's awesome. He looks like he's right at home on the court.
What a full on stud. He runs down the court like he owns the place. Even looking over his shoulder as he turns to run backwards. I wish I could be there to watch the kid play. Maybe our NBA dreams will come true!
That is what I am talking about. When he plays for UCLA and the Lakers. I want some passes to the game (if you know what I'm talking about). He is amazing out there.
I swear if I were any prouder I'd be that kids mother. They won't say it but my friends are so sick of my neice and nephew stories from the blog. Really though, can they blame me with kids as rad as these?
Nice work "white chocolate." That's probably not very PC but, I call it like I see it.
That is the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I wish we could make his games. I've been impressed with Jake's skills since he could stand and had that little standard he dunked on.
I want to be like Jake when I grow up. He was the man out there.
