Football fans...

These are the stars of the Clovis Buckeyes...Jake and Carter are on the same team and they're so comfortable with each other that they are a great pair. My favorite play so far is Carter playing running back following his lead blocker, Jake, and scoring a touchdown. I wish you guys could see it. It is poetry. They absolutely love football. You should see the look on Carter's face when he's got the ball or when he's blocking. It's awesome.

OK I heart freaking football but never have I been more in love with it than when I saw these two little guys in their football garb and thought of big bro being little bro's blocker. I'm all proud and stuff. Such studs. When do I get to see video footage of this poetry in motion?

They are so cute. I especially loved it when Carter took on that kid two years older than he is and won.

A few things:

1. Which one is big brother and which one is little brother?

2. Why is Jake blocking instead of Carter?

3. Two names come to mind thinking about Carter running - Ron Dayne and Jerome (the "Bus") Bettis.

Dale...neither one is the big/little brother. They are the same weight and virtually the same height which in football makes them equal. Jake just happened to be blocking on this play. Carter can barrell through people so he's a good running back. Those little squeebs (sp) have no shot when they see the freight train a.k.a. Carter coming straight at them. The funny thing is that Carter is a couple years younger than many of the players...it's good times, I tell you. When are you signing Brando up?

That would be never. I have no intent of signing Brandon up for football. We live in Texas. Parents and kids take football way too serious in Texas. It is a religion here. It is too violent and dangerous. Maybe if we lived somewhere else, but definitely not here. For now, I think we'll stick with little league, etc.

Look at those handsome boys! Bet it's a lot of fun watching them play! Wish we could be there to see the freight train and everyone else running for their lives. GO CARTER!!!

They are so cute taking a knee in their jerseys, that makes me giddy that I actually have a son now! Maybe someday I'll have some cute sports team pictures too!
